Still tired.

Sunday, October 14th, 2007

Work craziness resulting in extra sleepiness. *sigh*
I may have a brief update out this week, but that may be wishful thinking on my part, so here is my news: I will be/am joining Farpoint Media Family of Podcasts for some tech help and maybe a little ad money. Mostly the tech help so [...]

Post-con funk

Friday, September 7th, 2007

Urrrngh. Sinuses. Fever. Gutsick. A jedi may not care much for these either, but I’m definitely not a fan! I was fine until I got home, so I’m prone to blame the flight home. Talk with you guys soon,
CF.

Yay! I finished my costume for Dragon Con! http://girlgeniusonline.com/is the source material, and Agatha is entirely the property of Studio Foglio. Hi, Cheyenne! I think I need you to color me correctly.

Sleep gets in the way

Thursday, August 2nd, 2007

Little update here: Chronic fatigue recovery involves adding exercise back into my life and sometimes sleep-need relapses. Tonight I came home and slept from 7-11pm, which doesn’t really help me make best use of my waking free time. Tomorrow I expect to record a newscast (lots of material gathered) that should [...]

No, I didn’t feel the quake

Friday, July 20th, 2007

The epicenter wasn’t _that_ close to home. Within about 7 miles from work, but I’m at home on Fridays. I’ll find out on Monday if they felt anything there.
CF, She of a thousand naps, back to folding laundry.

Podcasting delay- lower back spasm

Monday, April 9th, 2007

It “went out” on Sunday. I made it through the work day, but there’s no way I’m sitting upright long enough to record and edit. Sorry, folks. Soon as I can, I’ll be in your earbuds again.
Going to go take a hot bath, Chris out.

2006 listener stats

Thursday, February 1st, 2007

3 pics for your amusement. For reference, this podcast started at the end of March, 2006.

That’s who’s listening. Thank you for sticking with me and my audio problems.
In other podcast-related news, my part-time schedule request was approved! Yayyy! This means I should be able to get over this tiredness thing and [...]

Podthroat, Las Vegas Style

Wednesday, December 27th, 2006

Still alive, sort of.
OK, everybody. Some people lose their shirts in Las Vegas; I lost my voice.
Lots of 2ndhand smoke + asthma = yucky congestion and feeling like low-energy crap.
After a day or so of that, I got a superinfection, an infection that takes advantage of your weakened state. I’m on my 2nd [...]

New review at SFRevu

Wednesday, December 6th, 2006

http://sfrevu.com/php/Review-id.php?id=4073 is where you’ll find my most recent review.
My bio is at: http://www.sfrevu.com/Contributors.php It’s not entirely in alphabetic order, and a panel of me in my old photocomic mode is there. That’s how I taught myself Photoshop.
OK, back to my guests.
CF out.

Grrr! Hissy Kitty fit here.

Sunday, October 15th, 2006

Well, I’ve managed to record Episode 26, but I’m having difficulty uploading it from my husband’s laptop. My PC is being disk-reformatted and OS-reloaded by a coworker due to the very very bad malware/Trojan horse that surfaced right after the PPME’s. I’m currently facing severe technical challenges and unable to post audio [...]

Ack! #2 had recording problems!

Monday, April 17th, 2006

Yes, last week’s show had sound balance problems. Sorry. If you haven’t listened yet, the first 6-7 seconds are loud. Then it should be fine until the last 7 seconds, when the sound goes out. That’s what I get for trying a fancy sound trick too soon, I guess.
Rather [...]
