Episode 31 is up!

Utah, Employment benefits, and callouts. Also, Unhappy and Happy Stuff. It’s been that kind of week.

Heyo to all the new folks on the Frappr map. Listen to find out who wants CF MySpace friends.

Best wishes to Joe Murphy from 2 shows ago. He’s been diagnosed with a tumor. Joe, good luck with Quato. Everybody who virtually knows Joe, please send him a note of support. He’s a really good guy, and I wish him the best in surgeons, oncologists, and luck.

Also, recovery wishes to Jerry S., the founding non-father of No Kidding!, whose car rolled recently in the Canadian snow. Apparently, he’s functional but quite banged up at the moment. Again, if you kinda know Jerry or are simply an NK member, send him a note that he is appreciated and (we hope) feeling better.

This week we bypass the news to recap my Utah experience, including the camel ride. Also, we get a head start on next show’s topic- employee benefits and the childfree. I’ll have a researcher interview next time, in about 10-12 days. My in-laws are in town, and I want to spend as much time with these very cool people as possible. There will be another show out before Christmas with news items, the interview, and who knows what else!

I’m spending the long Christmas weekend in Las Vegas, mainly to see Cirque du Soleil shows and Penn & Teller. Anybody with recommendations for eats, sights, or anything, please send me a comment, email, or voicemail. Thanks.

Take care, everyone! CF out.

But of course the Crusifixed Kitty was a joke. :) The first few times I heard you on Wingin’ It! That’s what I thought you were saying and it took me a while to figger it out. Of course, once I heard the name of your podcast, it became pretty obvious.

As for disparity in wages at the workplace, check out the military. They practically reward you for getting married and shooting out kids. Many of my Navy buddies did just that and I wound up alone while all my married buddies hung out together. Of course they all had extra money, could live off base, extra money for that, extra benefits, etc, etc.

As for my current employer, it’s equal pay based on seniority. In some ways, that’s almost worse because you get people who’ve sat in the same chair for 25 years doing little to nothing getting paid more because they’ve been there longer.

    Hmmm, I’m rambling, aren’t I?

Oh yes, I almost forgot, you need to post the link to your book review so we all can read it.
